Deckbuilding roguelikes look intimidating, but they're mostly about learning to say no. Every run offers you cards, and the mistake beginners make is grabbing all of them.

A bloated deck dilutes your best cards. In Glyph Tactics I got much better the moment I started skipping mediocre picks to keep my deck lean and focused.

Think in synergies, not raw power. Two cheap cards that combo together beat one expensive card that does nothing for your plan. Half the fun is spotting those pairings mid-run.

Losing isn't failure here — it's information. Each defeat teaches you which combos to chase next time. Treat the first ten runs as tutorial and you'll enjoy the rest far more.
